Selling Your Home in Weybridge

Weybridge is not one market but several. The private roads of St George’s Hill, the gated and private estates around the town, and the established family neighbourhoods close to the station and the High Street each attract buyers with quite different priorities. Two houses of a similar size can be separated by far more than their asking prices.

For that reason, a sound valuation begins with the individual property: its precise location, its condition, its architectural character and how it is presented, read alongside comparable sales that genuinely reflect it. A figure taken from an average rarely does justice to a distinctive home, and an asking price that is not supported by the evidence can cost a seller valuable time.

The way a home is introduced matters just as much. Professional photography, a thoughtful written description and careful preparation help buyers understand what makes a property worth seeing in person. For higher value or more unusual houses, targeted engagement with the right buyers is often more effective than simply waiting for portal enquiries.

Cornelia has seen this first hand. She personally managed the sale of a Weybridge home that had spent almost a year on the market without an offer, and secured a full asking price offer within five weeks. You can read how in our Weybridge case study.

In Residence deliberately represents a small number of homes. Rather than passing a sale between departments, one of the founders manages each instruction personally, from the first appraisal to completion. You can read more about how we sell.
